Our approach

Birchbank Trees are committed to providing high-quality, sustainable and organic trees direct to our customers. Our nursery practices aim to promote the health and well-being of the trees, while minimising our impact on the environment.

We are a 100% peat free nursery and use organic methods to cultivate the trees, such as using natural fertilisers and pest control methods. This means we avoid the use of chemical pesticides and fertilisers that can harm the trees and the environment.

We use sustainable irrigation methods to conserve water and prevent soil erosion.

Our range is focused on species that are well suited to the UK climate. We ensure each tree we supply is healthy and disease-free. Where we buy in stock, it is from UK suppliers who share our practices.

In addition to these sustainable practices, we also make sure to use eco-friendly packaging materials that are biodegradable or recyclable, this way we can minimise the waste generated in the process of shipping the trees.

We are transparent about our practices and are always open to feedback from our customers.

We believe that by implementing these sustainable and organic practices, we are not only providing the best possible trees to our customers, but also contributing to the enhancement of the environment.
